Missions Director

Seizing the opportunity is the focus and emphasis of Good Shepherd Worship Center's missions program. Jesus placed a strong emphasis on missions when He said, "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature..."

Good Shepherd Worship Center provides support on a monthly basis to missionaries and ministries spread locally, nationally and throughout the world.  Missions teams are sent out regularly to evangelize, assist missionaries with construction projects, and equip pastors and ministers with leadership training.
Next planned mission trip-  El Salvador, November 2008, with missionaries Danny & Daisi Lewis
Trip projects will include an eye glass clinic, Bible distribution, and evangelistic services
.

Good Shepherd Worship Center seeks to seize the opportunity in the following ways:

  • Tithing 11% of income into missions work
  • Regular monthly, MISSIONS SUNDAY
  • Regular monthly contributions to missionaries spread locally, nationally, and in several countries throughout the world
  • Medical, literary, and construction assistance in numerous countries
  • Regular ministry of missionaries in our church
  • Holding two mission conferences each year at Good Shepherd Worship Center
  • Arranging short term mission trips for adults and youth in our congregation

Through PRAYING, GIVING, and GOING, we seek to provide everyone an opportunity to be involved in missions
